- Benefit Show This Friday!
I’m playing guitar and miscellaneous other things this Friday at the Social.
He’s the friend of a friend from out of town who writes some really great music. This show is a benefit to help one of his friend’s sons who has a rare blood disease called Diamond Blackfin Anemia.We had one rehearsal yesterday and one more today…. 16 songs in two days… WHEW… TOUGH!! It’s going to be a good show…. I’m playing with some other really great players, which is always nice (And helpful when you have to learn so many tunes in such a short time)
Needless to say, if you’re in the O-town area and don’t already have plans for Friday 8/8/08, then come out, support a good cause, grab a beer, and listen to some good music.

- Modern Guilt - Oh So Guilty!
When I got this album today, I totally forgot that Danger Mouse co-produced this with Beck, and it was definitely a good decision! Normally, I’m a die-hard Godrich fan, but Danger Mouse and Beck is just a good of a callab. Catchy, dance-able, mature, all around goodness. Definitely a throw back to some older Beck stuff, and more stripped down than his last records, and dare I say Beatles-esque? I dare!!
Go… buy it.
